The Daily Grind: Which MMO is your most frequent ‘hop’ destination?

As a general rule, I tend to be committed to the MMOs I’m playing. When I hop in one, I am there for a long while, and it takes a lot for me to decide that I am no longer going to play the game. But that doesn’t mean that every new game I pick up is a years-long commitment, it just means that I have a tendency to stick with something for a while. There are times when, say, I will play Enshrouded or Star Trek Online or whatever for a month or so and then drift away from it.

Of course, there are a lot of reasons that you might hop to a game for a bit and then hop back away. Maybe you’re mostly curious about a new update but you don’t have a consistent friend group in the game to keep up with it on the regular. Maybe your friends are interested at the moment and so you are striking while the iron is metaphorically hot. Maybe you just needed a break from your more regular games. Today, my real question is which MMO is your most frequent “hop” destination? What online game do you find yourself playing for a bit before going back to other more reliable haunts?

Every morning, the Massively Overpowered writers team up with mascot Mo to ask MMORPG players pointed questions about the massively multiplayer online roleplaying genre. Grab a mug of your preferred beverage and take a stab at answering the question posed in today’s Daily Grind!
