Did you chuck any cash at OrbusVR, the blocky-cute virtual reality MMO sandbox with the unusually small and short Kickstarter? It’s a sure thing now: It’s already met its $10,000 goal. In fact, it doubled its goal in under a day, unlocking both the pet system stretch goal and the world boss stretch goal.
“Thanks for all the kind words and support from everyone,” founder Riley Dutton wrote in MOP’s comments last night. “We’re making it happen! Exciting!”
The next stretch goal, the Explorer’s League, opens up at the $30,000 mark.
“This is a new faction in the game that is all about exploring the realm of OrbusVR. Whether it’s a scavenger hunt, a puzzle hidden deep in a forest, or discovering an ancient piece of lore text hidden away in a sunken temple, these folks want to send you on an adventure! So if you’re the kind of person that loves exploring every nook and cranny of a game, or you just love the idea of discovering a long-lost secret in the game, you’re in for a treat.”
Just remember that this is a one-week Kickstarter, so you’ve got only a few more days to jump in and snap up the game preorder cheaply.
