At the start of the week, I journeyed far across the land, venturing into the wilds of the northwest armed only with my wits and boundless determination. There, I was set upon by many ills and challenges, but I was undeterred in my charge. Today, I have completed my journey, and I tell you now that the great best Iktho-Mar has been slain by my hand!
For reasons that I am not entirely clear upon, that means I finally have What Are You Playing back in my hands, which means I get to open off with absurd non sequiturs once again. I’m sure you’re all thrilled. Here, have a picture of a capybara, and check out what we’ll be playing down below. Also, let us know what you’re doing in the comments!
Brianna Royce (@nbrianna, blog): My goal is more PvP in Guild Wars 2 again this weekend. Pew pew, etc. I also roped my husband into Marvel Heroes, so maybe we’ll duck into that together too.
Eliot Lefebvre (@Eliot_Lefebvre, blog):Â I have to pack for a move, catch up in both Final Fantasy XIV and World of Warcraft, and if I am very lucky and have a surfeit of time, dive back into Guild Wars 2. More likely I just won’t get a spare moment to breathe for the next month.
Jef Reahard (@jefreahard):Â I’m back to ArcheAge, for better or worse. It hasn’t improved since I quit, but then neither has the rest of the genre, which means that AA is still the only choice for AAA sandbox play where you’re not a spaceship. Provided you can get past the godawful monetization and the way it’s driven by credit card casuals who would rather shop than play, there’s a lot of fun to be had.
Justin Olivetti (@Sypster, blog):Â My Star Wars: The Old Republic Operative finally hit level 55 this week, so I’m clearing out some time to head into the Shadow of Revan content and see what the expansion fuss is about. Plans past that include making headway in the final episode of Guild Wars 2‘s second season and smacking corsairs around in Gondor in Lord of the Rings Online.
