Music is important. Some MMOs do not have very good music, and as a result you don’t actually notice when one piece is bad or worse. But that is not universal. There are a lot of MMOs with amazing music, and sometimes those MMOs drop new tracks that are… just hot garbage. Just absolute anti-bangers. Banger-averse. They de-bang. You get the idea.
Final Fantasy XIV has whatever the heck is going on with Labyrinthos daytime music. World of Warcraft has a few zones in every expansion that sound awful. Star Trek Online has a couple of tracks since launch that for some reason just don’t get replaced and are kind of droning. Guild Wars 2… well, all right, GW2 has pretty great music throughout, but I’m sure there are some mid tracks I’m just not thinking of at the moment. The list goes on. So what would you consider some of the worst MMO music from an MMO that otherwise has good music?
