XD Games’ Torchlight Infinite may be a good game, but is it good enough? The studio doesn’t think so, not yet, which is why it’s revamping core systems with next month’s Season 5 update.
The patch, which comes out on July 4th, includes “new innovative gameplay mechanics,” additional heroes, legendary gear, and “a series of restructured and optimized core systems.”
The studio set the tone for the update: “In this new season, players will dive into the Clockwork Ballet, a thrilling new chapter filled with mysterious adventures and challenging gameplay. Promising an array of new features, including unique hero abilities, legendary gear, and significant core system overhauls designed to enhance the game experience, the new Season will revolutionize Torchlight: Infinite.”
