PSA: Dual Universe will once more make abandoned constructs salvagable starting September 4

Consider this a friendly reminder for any Dual Universe players who may have some constructs that have been ignored or forgotten: After Novaquark turned off inactive asset requisition (IAR) a couple of weeks ago, the studio is re-engaging the function on Wednesday, September 4th.

“This means that the unclaim timers on your constructs will once again start counting down and your ships, etc., will be vulnerable to salvaging,” the studio elaborates. “This also means that salvagers will be able to enjoy scanning Helios for vulnerable constructs.”

Novaquark further points out that IAR will be retroactive, which means that constructs that have been inactive for a long time or builds parked on the Aphelia territory for more than seven days will be subject to immediate abandonment. In short, if you’ve let certain buildings or ships sort of lay around, you’re going to have to pick up your toys very soon.
