We are pleased to report that the latest lore entry for Tarisland’s Blight Dragon Elegy is not nearly as insane as last week’s – no demonic baby bumps in this post, thank goodness. Slightly more hinged this time! Indeed, Tencent’s has instead chosen to introduce The Relic and its magical blue ice, Dragonbone Ruins, and Dragon Summon Platform, which… honestly that name sounds like a warning, but apparently it’s a good thing and a site of celebration, or at least it was until Tizarro inexplicably stole the throne. Dammit, Tizarro.
“The Dragon Summon Platform once witnessed the golden age of Grenny, but since Tizarro took the throne, it has been sealed off, and the legends of the Auden royal family and the dragons have slowly sunk into the river of time,” Tencent laments. “Only occasionally, in the still of the night, a nostalgic Bard will come here to silently reminisce about the good old days.” Same, nostalgic Bard. Same.
The Silent Wasteland graveyard also sounds like a trip and a half owing to the giant disembodied arm that (inexplicably, again) fell from the sky and now makes up its key feature.
“This place was never meant for a story to occur, until one day, thick clouds suddenly rolled over the wasteland, accompanied by a deafening roar, a gigantic severed arm fell from the sky, crashing directly into the center of the wasteland. This severed arm was immensely huge, exquisitely structured, made entirely of rock and mysterious metal, covered with ancient runes, and even in its broken state, one could still sense its powerful magic. Since the arrival of the severed arm, the wasteland began to undergo strange changes.”
Blight Dragon Elegy launches next month, when we assume we’ll stop getting these lore masterpieces.
