Myth of Empires’ Persia DLC will add new bosses, fancy building items, and a walking platform

It turns out that the ancient Persians were pretty prolific inventors in their time, including wind power, refrigeration, a highway system, and a postal service attributed to the empire. Keep that in mind when you check out the preview posts out of the survival sandbox Myth of Empires, which highlight its upcoming Persia DLC and the addition of a large mobile platform.

This contraption made of animal power, firepower, and artistic liberties will let players move structures, production equipment, and troops across the landscape, albeit rather slowly, and can even be paired with other automated equipment to create a moving fortress. Of course the DLC will also let players harness wind power for use in forging, smelting, and various other crafts.

Other previews from developer Angela Game include a pair of boss previews that promise a fight against a ghost warrior and a giant crocodile, as well as the expected Persian-style building pieces so players can dress up their bases in desert finery. As for when all of this will land, it’s expected sometime later this year.
