Is there a better place to spend a virtual Halloween than Diablo IV’s Sanctuary? Maybe? Maybe not, but you’re invited to trick-or-treat there anyway. And by “trick-or-treat,” Blizzard actually means “Meat or Treat,” which is part of its Macabre Celebration.
This event is pretty much two things bundled together. First, there are four login rewards, one for every day from the 29th through the 1st. These include two trophies, a mount, and mount armor. Then random shrines in dungeons might subject you to meat or treats, depending on your luck.
“Our macabre celebration will be in full swing from October 29th, 10 a.m. to November 5th, 10 a.m. PT,” the studio said (that’s 1 p.m. EDT). “Claim limited-time cosmetic rewards when you log in to defend Sanctuary and make sure to pay a visit to your nearest dungeon shrine to play Meat or Treat!”
