It’s all about the future for Myth of Empires in both the near and long-term, as the MMO survival sandbox is readying to begin its third season this weekend and showcasing more of its Persia DLC.

We’ll begin with the Season 3 start, which is confirmed to begin on Friday, November 8th. This next season promises ramped up gathering multipliers, earlier activation time for things like cross-boundary and cross-prefecture, reduced seasonal XP tally requirements, and enhancements to combat on both the offensive and defensive side.

Meanwhile, developer Angela Game is continuing its previews of the Persia DLC with a look at several new underground locations. Players can expect “numerous” versions of these POIs including ancient tombs, spider caves, sandworm caves, and plant caves, each offering plenty of threats to face. These areas will also house bosses to track and fight, with rewards like new building pieces and special vehicle recipes for those who emerge victorious. As a reminder, this DLC is scheduled to launch sometime by the end of this year.
