I don’t think I can properly express how much I love the Ikthians in WildStar. The Ikthian Crawler is seriously something I would… well, not kill for, that’s extreme, but I’d punch a dude. Unfortunately, you all remember a couple of months back when we were all unceremoniously fired with no forewarning, and thus I had to make a choice that I now intensely regret – I made a choice to let my WildStar subscription lapse.
Had I known that I was choosing not to get a mount when the free-to-play conversion happened, I… well, actually, I probably would have done the exact same thing, I needed to save money. But it would have factored in.
On that note, here’s something completely unrelated to that note. It’s What Are You Playing, the game where the score is made up and the points don’t matter, because there is neither score nor points. There’s just us telling you what we’re playing for the weekend and you telling us what you’re playing down in the comments. What joy!
Brianna Royce (@nbrianna, blog): Probably Trove; I think I might even get my husband to take a peek at it. But I’d really like to check out Lion’s Arch in Guild Wars 2 and get a ton of screenshots too. And Justin keeps making me miss Marvel Heroes. So many fun toys!
Eliot Lefebvre (@Eliot_Lefebvre, blog): Another weekend and another bit of puttering in Final Fantasy XIV, yes, but I’m also spending some time back in WildStar and in World of Warcraft. And there are about twelve other games I’d like to be jumping in on, too, but I have only so many hours in the day.
Justin Olivetti (@Sypster, blog): Why, WildStar of course! Lots of excitement following the free-to-play announcement and hope – for the first time in a while – for a brighter future. One of my current goals in the game is to hunt down challenges that reward housing items and pretty up my plot somewhat.
MJ Guthrie (@MJ_Guthrie, blog): Considering our family loss this week I don’t think I will be doing much gaming at all besides my Landmark stream. Maybe I will shoot a couple zombies in H1Z1, too. Because blasting death in the face would feel pretty cathartic right now. Instead, I am going to immerse myself in the home version of Snuggle Bunnies and hugging the stuffing out of my kids the moment I fly back.
Your turn!
