Black Desert just got a new class called the Blader, which Steparu describes as the “fastest playable character” in the game. Bladers wield a sword — duh — as well as a composite bow, and they’re also able to conjure some sort of spirit weapon called a Tiger Blade, which turns them into a dual-wield class.
Steparu also mentions endless attacks courtesy of delay-canceling skills as well as effective evasion, heavy damage, and a quick dash that instantly closes the distance on targets. Click past the cut to see a clip of the Blader in action.
There’s much to love about The Secret World, as MassivelyOP’s MJ and Justin will both tell you. But why settle for just telling when they can also show you? This duo is teaming up once again to show off one of the best places in game: Savage Coast’s amusement park.

The popular dark universe of Warhammer 40,000 is heading not only to MMOs but to MOBAs as well.
Whitebox Interactive is working on a new title called Dark Nexus Arena that uses the grim setting of 40K to pit teams of four against each other. Players will fight in “the dark city of Commorragh and the gore-filled arenas of the Wych Cults” by taking sides with one of three initial factions: Space Marine, Ork, and Tau.
Early access is scheduled for Q2 2015 with a hopeful 2016 launch. You can watch the teaser video for Dark Nexus Arena after the jump.

Cliffhanger Productions signed a deal with Nordic Games for the latter to produce and ship a boxed version of the game. As a bonus, this deal will allow the team time to create French and German versions for launch in addition to the current English edition.
In other Shadowrun news, the Early Access Update 8 patch has arrived with a truckload of improvements, starting with an actual character creation screen. The patch also contains a new real-time hub, improved grouping, gear selection, a clothing screen, better AI, more skills, additional enemies, and a variety of other tweaks. File this one under things we didn’t see coming: ArenaNet has just announced that it will fulfill a long-running fan request by adding a first-person point-of-view to Guild Wars 2. The new feature goes live on March 10th and will be accompanied by a field-of-view slider, over-the-shoulder vs. vertical position sliders, camera snap collision sensitivity, and camera tracking by character height.
First-person Camera: Zooming in all the way will allow players to experience a first-person view. First-person mode is available while standing in place, walking, running, jumping, playing PvP and just about anything else. There aren’t any restrictions on where first-person can be used.
Field of View: A much requested feature, the field of view slider is a setting that will allow players to adjust how much can be seen in the game world. Players can use a slider to shrink or enlarge the field of view.
announced a “major update
” for War Thunder
this week. The 1.47 Big Guns patch adds the game’s largest tank (the Pz.Kpfw.VIII Maus) and the game’s largest aircraft (the B-29 Superfortress). Gaijin says that future War Thunder aircraft will follow the standard set by the new IL-2.
Finally, Big Guns adds 14 new combat vehicles, the Steel Generals ground forces tree, more realistic environmental details and interaction for tank battles, and open cockpits and contrails for most of the game’s aircraft. You can get a glimpse of the patch via the video after the break.

Do you like roaming around and picking up random junk on the ground? Then you might be the perfect player type to handle League of Legends’
newest champion, Bard, who gains “meep” pets by snagging chimes hidden around the playing field.
According to his reveal, “Bard is League’s first support to gain advantages solely from moving around Summoner’s Rift. By constantly collecting his unique chimes, he covers plenty of ground at all stages of a game, and offers his team both solid sustain with his health packs and unrivalled team mobility with his long range portals.”
In addition to introducing Bard, LoL has updated to Patch 5.4, which includes a semi-locked camera option, a DJ Sona skin, and a bunch of mage love. Speaking of DJ Sona, you can catch a quick concert of hers after the break!
Have you been banned for cheating in H1Z1? Did you write an angry email to Daybreak expressing your remorse and/or incredulity? If so, you might be featured on a new three-minute video wherein H1Z1 devs have a bit of fun by highlighting some of the recently banned ne’er-do-wells.
If you’re among the innocent who’d never cheat at anything, even your taxes, then it’ll be a fun time for you, as you’re about to be treated to a litany of all those cheaters who swear they aren’t cheaters so often that they seem to have forgotten they really did cheat. And then there are the sob stories whipped up by the folks who’ve already taken a guilty plea with the studio. Darnit people, maybe just stop being cheaters, or find a game you don’t suck at?
