We’re less than a month away from the early access launch of ASKA, a fresh multiplayer survival game with a Viking theme and a town-management vibe, and today, Thunderful and Sand Sailor Studio have released a new deep-dive video on the game’s survival mechanics. The eyecandy vid walks players through setting up camp, being eaten by bears, reuiniting your fellow shipwreckees, building up your town, bossing around your NPC villagers, crafting, and dying.

For those who’d like a crack at the game before buying it, Sand Sailor will open up the game’s demo for two periods in the next few weeks: May 27th through June 3rd for Steam’s Open World Survival Craft Fest and June 10th through 18th for the traditional Steam Next Fest. The demo grants players five hours of playtime, solo or multiplayer, and it’s apparently scored for bragging rings.

Early access kicks off after that on June 20th. The new trailer is below.
