PlanetSide 2 addresses its recent Sunderer Rework blunder

If you’re going to be stuck in status limbo, it helps to at least show signs that you’re still alive and kicking. So good for PlanetSide 2 on posting a dev blog talking about the state of the game and what project fans might expect to see in the coming months.

The (Toadman?) team came out and addressed the recent Sunderer blunder (say that five times fast!), as “parts of the Sunderer Rework were unintentionally released to the live client” and subsequently reverted. Apparently this happened due to the team fumbling multi-client updates.

In better news, PlanetSide 2’s devs said that they want to rework the alert and warzone capture system: “Ultimately, the alert system should give purpose to the smaller, tactical actions players take, such as capturing a base. Having a more diverse set of goals, something other than ‘paint the map,’ has several benefits.”
