It might not be World of Warcraft’s most content-filled event, but it is its most explosive. The New Year celebration for Azeroth kicked off last night with fireworks on the hour, every hour, above all of the major citie, continuing through today. Blizzard notified players that the guards will be turned off in Booty Bay for the duration of the celebration.
If you’re looking for something more substantial to do in the game, then the studio suggests a few rounds of pet battles. Through January 4th, all pet battle experience will be increased by 200%. There’s even an ultimate battle-training stone to be won by engaging in pet battles against other players.
