WRUP: How to escape from any field edition

Beware, beware, beware.

So you’ve been abandoned in the middle of a field in the middle of nowhere and you’re reading this guide to help you escape. I’m not going to ask you why you were abandoned in the middle of a field; your personal life is your own business. The important thing is that there’s a field and you don’t want to live forever in this field. First of all, you need to ask yourself the following question: am I reading this article fresh on my mobile device, or did I have it pre-loaded for this exact situation?

If it’s the former, use your mobile device to call for help or look up GPS, come on, that’s obvious. If it’s the latter, however… well, wait, you knew you were getting abandoned in a field? At that point this is down to your own stupid planning and poor life choices. You’re on your own with this one, sit there and think about what you did. But also let us know what you’re up to down in the comments of this week’s What Are You Playing.

Andrew Ross (@dengarsw): I sadly still have some cleaning/organizing to do, but I’ll still try to make sure I make time for a walk/Pokémon Go, especially now that it seems my team’s gotten frustrated with the stagnation (I think second, non-Mystic accounts are being used, as I’ve watched my own Pokemon get defeated and replaced while driving there twice).

There’s also a new Mario Party out that I’m really interested in hitting up, though I have a feeling I won’t be able to find any locals to play with. We’ll see though!

Brianna Royce (@nbrianna, blog): Most likely I won’t get to play much; it’s going to be a busy weekend of BlizzCon! But if I do, it’ll be Marvel Heroes and maybe Guild Wars 2. I kinda got accidentally sucked back into Marvel Heroes last weekend, and now all my faves have new duds. Gotta level another one.

Eliot Lefebvre (@Eliot_Lefebvre, blog): Oh, you know, a bit of Final Fantasy XIV, a bit of World of Warcraft, more BlizzCon live blogs. That’s how we do things around here.

Justin Olivetti (@Sypster, blog): Right now I’m still pushing hard to finish up with RIFT’s current content so I can be ready for the expansion in a week. The Secret World is also beckoning, and I shall answer.

MJ Guthrie (@MJ_Guthrie, blog): Honestly?  I don’t know. I make so many gaming plans, and then can’t get to maybe half because I get caught up in one game or another and then all the time just whooshes by. I know I will be in The Secret World trying to pound out more event goodies and do the previous years’ Samhain missions.  I will also be in ARK: Survival Evolved doing what else but surviving. It will surely involve dinos. And I will be trying out Revelation Online for the first time, checking out and streaming the game. I hope to get some Lord of the Rings Online in, but I am festival-ed out there, so it may go by the wayside this time.

Pierre, patron: No real MMO for me this week, again. I’m still enjoying Destiny quite a lot, and I bought Skyrim Special Edition on my PS4 and will probably spend a lot of time exploring this snowy & chilly game this weekend. I wish you a nice gaming weekend MOP readers; cheers!

Your turn!
