Strap on those jet boots and wiggle into your spandex because Overwatch is about to send you careening on a course toward double experience. Starting tomorrow and running through Monday, June 12th, players will earn twice the XP than normal, allowing for some rapid advancement.
The double XP bonus applies to “nearly all” sources of rewards with the sole exception being players’ first win of the day bonuses. It also stacks with group and IGR bonuses, so you could get a really good thing going there. The event is running simultaneously on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
Overwatch recently revealed its new Lunar Colony map and hinted that a new hero — most likely Doomfist — is on the way to the team-based shooter.
