Happy Hobbity birthday wishes to Lord of the Rings Online, which turns 12 years old this week! The Middle-earth MMO released in 2007, taking players on a journey that’s spanned from the Shire to Mordor and beyond. And now, it’s time to celebrate.
The festivities are due to begin today at 10:00 am EDT, although the devs say that the 12th year gifts might not arrive until tomorrow. In addition to this, the team released Update 23.5 overnight. The patch is mainly dedicated to a sweeping overhaul of the Burglar class, bringing it in line with other classes in terms of utility, survivability, and DPS.
