Instead of being a fun time of consuming questionably out-of-date candy in the wasteland, Fallout 76’s Halloween event has proven to be more challenging than chilling. Bethesda announced this week that it’s making some key changes to the festivities to give a Vault Dweller a hand.

To wit, the trick-or-treating requirements have been reduced so that players can hit the daily challenge more easily, Spooky Scorched mobs are set to spawn all over the place this weekend, and a double S.C.O.R.E. weekend event is set to take place during this same time period.

Additionally, the studio announced that it’s extending the Halloween event for those who’ve had problems getting their to-do list done: “In addition, we’ve decided to extend the entire Spooky Scorched event, including the trick-or-treating challenges, by an extra week so that everyone has some more time to earn the challenge rewards.”
