The Daily Grind: Will you Kickstart any MMOs in 2022?

I Kickstarted Book of Travels a few years back, and its early access didn’t quite turn out the way I hoped. It’s not a bad game; it’s just more of a curiosity at this stage. The game I still feel like it could be isn’t there yet. And yet I’m incredibly glad I backed it because it’s unique in the universe. I’m glad I got to support these devs building something so weird and unusual – maybe it’ll spark new ideas in other studios too.

However, I do not put my money into many Kickstarters as a general rule. I think the field of MMO Kickstarters has only become more cluttered with scams over time, and so I’m pretty careful about what I back. Unless someone I trust comes out with an amazing pitch, I’m unlikely to back anything this year.

How about you? Will you Kickstart any MMOs in 2022?
