The Daily Grind: Do you delay uninstalling MMOs you might want to play again?

Here's an explanation.

I am terrible about uninstalling MMOs on my hard drive. It’s a bad habit of mine. Despite the fact that my gaming setup is pretty well set for at least the next several months, I still have games installed that I know full well I will not be playing for quite some time, even reaching to the point when it would in no way be faster to just keep them in their current state. It’ll take just as long to update the game when I finally play it again as if I had uninstalled it!

Of course, I also have my job to consider, and sometimes it makes sense to keep space on the hard drive for games I fully plan to play again instead of just reinstalling it months later. But maybe you’re more diligent than I am and are quick to uninstall games that you don’t expect to play for a while. Or are you also something of an installation packrat with your MMOs? Do you delay uninstalling MMOs you might want to play again?

Every morning, the Massively Overpowered writers team up with mascot Mo to ask MMORPG players pointed questions about the massively multiplayer online roleplaying genre. Grab a mug of your preferred beverage and take a stab at answering the question posed in today’s Daily Grind!
