Ah, buyer’s remorse, how sweet you taste. That moment when you’ve put down your money, you’re examining your purchase, and that thought runs through your head: “Why in the hell did I buy this?” But unlike that juicer you’re never going to use (it’s time to be honest with yourself about that thing), MMO purchases are a whole other ball of wax because now you don’t even have a physical item to point to and explain why you dropped money on something you realize now you didn’t actually want. Sad trombone noises.
Of course, maybe you are a very conscientious consumer and always make sure that you are going to buy something you very genuinely want. But many of us have probably dropped the cash only to realize after the fact that maybe we shouldn’t have bought it. We don’t actually like that outfit, or we don’t really want that mount, or we don’t even like having that minion following us around. So have you ever bought something in an MMO cash shop you regret?
