It feels like every weekend, one MMORPG or another is running some sort of bonus XP event. This sort of thing whips the community up into a frenzy, since it offers players a limited time to grab extra advancement for the same effort.
Personally, I’ll be happy to enjoy it if I get such a bonus, but I don’t exactly go out of my way to capitalize on it. Others, however, go full HAM to get as much progress as possible in that time period.
