You know, I’m just not much of a title guy. I appreciate that MMORPGs like to throw in a ton of titles as a customization option to chase, but as I usually disable my own nameplate, the only reason I’d have a title is to impress other people. And I figure, hey, I’d rather others know my actual name than read a short paragraph of text that says “The Honorable Noble Pig-Farmer of Cascadia” before ever getting to what I’m actually called.
But once in a while I do appreciate a short and descriptive title. In LOTRO, I like getting the “Wanderer” title because it’s not that frequently used and I feel it describes me perfectly. Probably describes everyone else perfectly as well.
