Palia’s lunar new year event is live alongside the return of Maji Market festivities

As promised, Palia’s Maji Market returned last night, this time to celebrate lunar new year – or Luna New Year, as the cozy mini-MMO calls it. “Come one, come all! Whether you are a returning event-goer or this is your first experience, the Maji Market welcomes all Palians to discover this wonderful celebration,” Singularity 6 says. “Now, it’s back with an even greater purpose: to revel in the Luna New Year.”

We spy plenty of new-new in the patch notes: new edibles, new decor bits, new permanent crops and forageables, nine new cooked dishes, new emotes, romance options for Subira, new wall options, bay windows, and of course, the festivities of Luna New Year itself. At the Fairgrounds, players will be engaging in a Hotpop minigame, tying ribbons ’round the wishing tree, and gathering the requisite lucky envelopes.

S6 does say in the patch notes that it’s still working on the Air Yemple bug, cross-server play issues, and wardrobe and coin-purchasing bugs.
