Nightingale’s weekend emergency rollback appears to have mostly patched up problems

It was the kind of nightmare scenario that no survival RPG ever wants to see: a bug that caused player housing to be wiped out left and right. That’s the unfortunate situation that Nightingale found itself in this past weekend, prompting Inflexion Games to pull the trigger on a rollback to restore the lost virtual homes.

The good news is that it appears that the emergency maintenance did its job and the Victorian-themed title is back online. However, Inflexion did acknowledge that there may be lingering issues, saying, “As servers will now do additional checks for persistence, you may see additional travel errors after this update. If you receive this error, please try again after a couple of minutes.”

The studio urged any players who continue to see a missing realm to submit a ticket for restoration. Inflexion said that around 240 realms were affected by the bug.
