For once, it’s probably good that we don’t have a Transformers MMORPG because otherwise the answer to this question would just be Optimus Prime. But I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about MMORPG leaders who managed to completely screw the pooch, from failing to trifle with doors to that time a teenager started a paramilitary outfit that murdered a head of state by accident. That’s just funny to me. But there are also good fictional leaders in MMORPGs, characters you like who manage to actually lead factions without tripping over their own feet.
Which one is the best, though? We’re not counting leaders who got to do the heroic sacrifice thing and shuffle off into the sunset; we’re only counting extant leaders in an MMORPG’s storyline. Who’s the best one still kicking around in your game of choice? A leader whose presence inspires you to go kill whichever dozen rats need killin’ on this particular expansion questline?
