Heidel Ball 2024: The streets of the real Heidel of Black Desert

Have you ever wandered around an interesting or beautiful area in a game and wished that you could traverse such a locale in real life? I have! So when Pearl Abyss extended me an invitation to attend Black Desert Online’s Heidel Ball in the very village that the game’s city of Heidel was based upon, I was ecstatic. I haunted the Wiki of France’s Beynac-et-Cazenac, marveling at the amazing view and counting down the days.

Considering how often I stop and take screenshots in games (especially BDO), I just knew that I’d be filling up my camera with images of this trip. And I was not wrong. From the town of Sarlat we stayed in to the streets of Heidel itself, it was a magical experience. Here’s a gallery of a smattering of those images for you to enjoy! (I doubt our database could handle posting all of them! Yes, there are that many.) And as a bonus, we have a few official drone shots as well!
