Star Wars: The Old Republic’s streamlined dev team faces the daunting task to keep the game looking active and healthy as it crosses its one-year anniversary with Broadsword this month. Executive Producer Keigh Kanneg posted a new letter celebrating the milestone while recapping the many accomplishments that the MMO achieved in Q2 2024.

“June 2024 is upon us, and this marks not only the second quarter of the year, but also our one year anniversary with Broadsword Online Games. In the past year, we’ve pushed out five content updates and 11 patches, a new APAC server, and collaborated with Lucasfilm Games to bring Ahsoka and The Acolyte inspired items to the game. And there’s much more coming,” Kanneg said.

He was a little more cagey on what the SWTOR is planning for the future, saying only that there will be a developer livestream in July or August to cover Update 7.5.1, new Date Night missions, and info on Galactic Seasons 7.
