Astra Knights of Veda marks 100 days of operation by handing out goodies and a free character

One might be surprised that the gacha multiplayer RPG ASTRA: Knights of Veda made it to 100 days of operation considering its unceremonious start last April, but indeed it has made it past the 100 day mark as of last week, which was cause enough for HYBE IM to mark the occasion.

The celebrations, which are still slated to run until July 31st or August 1st, include multiple login goodies, a wide assortment of items and currencies for completing up to 43 different tasks, and a coupon code that grants more materials and access to the recently added five-star Death Crown character, which has a unique dual attribute system.

The patch that brought these events and the new character also introduced the Portrait of Thierry seasonal content that grants items for moving across a tiled map and completing objectives, added new El Cid equipment, reset the Tower of Trials, and made the Black Mutation event a permanent part of the game. There are also general changes to characters and items, so players may want to pore through the patch notes for more.

As for that earlier referenced sour start, Steam user reviews have shifted from “mostly negative” to “mixed” since April, while user numbers on the platform have tailed off quite a bit, though these stats are specific to Steam and so obviously don’t account for mobile players.
