Whether you prefer your world of combat vehicle multiplayer games to be full of tanks or warships, there are some new things to do for fans of Wargaming’s major two titles, as World of Tanks has released a retooled Onslaught mode and World of Warships has added new French destroyers to early access.

We begin with WoT’s incoming Update 1.25.1, which is headlined by the new “relaxed” and “lucrative” Onslaught mode. The features of this mode should be familiar to regular fans, including 7v7 battles with modifiers and tactical skills, but this time around there is no ranking or qualification to worry about, the mode is open to “most” Tier VIII vehicles, and it offers lots of rewards for those who move through its 15 stages of progression.

The other portion of Update 1.25.1 arrives in the latter half of July, when Wargaming will bring back the Steel Hunter tournament with some additional refinements to joining in the fray and reward earnings.

As for WoWS, the recently released Update 13.6 adds six new French destroyers to early access as its marquee feature, alongside a related battle pass for players to chase after. The new ships will be on hand until September 4th, while the event pass is available until August 7th.

Other features for this new patch include a new temporary Mode Shuffle game mode option, launches Season 18 of ranked battles, reruns the earlier Transformers crossover event on July 31st, and is holding a collaboration event with Star Trek until August 7th.
