Broadsword released a teaser stream last night for Star Wars The Old Republic’s 7.5.1 update, and while it’s certainly welcome, it’s… a 7.5.1 update. Some expectations-management is in order, as this patch is heavily focused on content rewards, like feasting deco to the Feast of Prosperity event.
“Galactic Seasons 7 (GS7) is called The Greatest Bounty. The Bounty Contract Event will be enabled for the duration of GS7 and will feature the Dark vs Light (DvL) World Bosses! These bosses will be added to the weekly objectives. The DvL currency and vendors will be making a return. GS7 rewards include new titles, the Brynjak and Superior Hunter Armors, the Furious and Temperamental Brynjak Mounts, themed weapons, and white Loth-cat kitten pet and more!”
The devs are also promising new Date Night missions, specifically tied to Vette and Aric Jorgan. “These Date Night Missions will be available for Troopers and Sith Warriors in active post-KotFE romances,” the studio explains.
A separate post explains a round of gear progression tweaks on deck, including the addition of multiple choices (of upgrade caches and currency) for flashpoints and other missions, plus Broadsword is increasing the number of runs for missions players can complete per week.
