Hot off the belated arrival of a ton of catch-up of content for console players, Gamigo has kicked off a new event in Trove… for PC players. The MMORPG sandbox is running the Lunar Plunge event through August 27th. Players will essentially be harvesting event drops from the environment and shadow/chaos wolves in order to satisfy the new quest line.
“PC players will take up arms and join the Knights and Acolytes of the Sun and Moon in the fight against the Wolves of Chaos and Shadow,” the studio says. “These agents of chaos have invaded the Cursed Vale and Shores of the Everdark biomes, and it’s up to brave Trovians to drive them from the land and back into the shadows from whence they came.”
“The event also introduces a new banner style, Moonshadow Standard, crafted by Quartermaster Herrich as part of the questline. The banner disappears at the end of the event, but players can use the Loot Collector to save the style. Additionally, players can unlock two new allies, the Mothwing Nightlion and the Moonshadow Guardian, and a new mount, the Moonshadow Stag.”
