So steamy.

Let there be no doubt to anyone who plays games on PC of who the 5,000-pound gorilla of the digital storefront world is: Valve’s Steam platform hit a new high water mark for consecutive users online this past Sunday, with a concurrency count that crested 37M players online: The exact number of users online was 37,242,724, which surpassed the earlier record of over 33M set at the beginning of January.

The spike in activity is mostly being attributed to the release of the single-player RPG Black Myth: Wukong, which released last week but steadily charged up to the top of the most played charts at the time of this writing to surpass stalwarts like Counter-Strike 2, Dota 2, and PUBG.
