Sometimes it’s nice to go fishing. It’s nice to just be around a large body of water without really worrying whether or not you’ll catch anything, casting your line, enjoying the scenery and zoning out a bit. This is as true in video games as it is in real life, and while fishing in an MMORPG has no chance of providing you with a tasty fish you can cook and eat in real life, it does involve fewer insects flying around you and less handling of worms. Think it through!

Of course, not every MMORPG has the same variety of low-stakes relaxing gameplay. Some have loads of options for players of all preferences; others only have one or two things you can do and none of them are particularly relaxing. So which MMO would you say has the most satisfying idle gameplay? Low-stakes, relaxing, but still fun?

Every morning, the Massively Overpowered writers team up with mascot Mo to ask MMORPG players pointed questions about the massively multiplayer online roleplaying genre. Grab a mug of your preferred beverage and take a stab at answering the question posed in today’s Daily Grind!
