Despite boasting over 200,000 gamers checking out its demo during last month’s Steam Next Fest, vehicle battler Sand acknowledged that it’s got plenty of weak spots to shore up before it’s fully ready.

Feedback from the playtest noted that optimization and server stability for the sci-fi title were poor, but the good news is that work’s being done to correct these defects.

“We know optimization needs to be addressed and performance improved and we are actively working on optimization to make your experience smoother,” the devs said. They also noted the many server crashes of the demo, saying, “This was a huge disappointment for us and of course our players and to prevent similar situations in the future we are planning to change our server provider before the next public playtest.”

Other projects in the works include better inventory management, the ability to delete characters, anti-cheat measures, and (most important) a honk-honk horn for Tramplers.
