At this point, I’m really starting to think that I’m missing out because I’ve yet to see Mythic Quest. I know, I know, I’ll turn in my MMO credentials right now, but I do promise you that it’s next on my list of sitcoms to watch.
In any case, when I do get around to seeing Mythic Quest, I’ll have even more of it to enjoy. Season 4 is set to return on Apple TV this coming January 29th with 10 more episodes. As a bonus, the studio is also releasing four anthology episodes of a spin-off series called Side Quest.
Mythic Quest is about a fictional MMORPG studio with plenty of drama, egos, and ridiculous situations happening behind the scene of the game’s development. It’s completely goofy and, considering our shared passion, it’s totally up our alley.
MOP’s Sam has been keeping on top of the series and did a long piece on how well it tackles actual issues faced by MMO studios. (Pretty well, as it happens!)
