Nightingale’s winter update adds player-hosted servers, resource automation, and a new winter event

Here's your new job.

Technically, the newest update to Nightingale offers resource automation, but it’s not really automated in the traditional sense. It’s just telling estate residents to do something for resource gathering. That’s less of “setting up machines to do the work for you” and more “giving the guy who hangs in your house a job to do.” Still, if it means the fish get caught and you don’t have to catch them, does it really matter that much? We’re hoping it doesn’t.

The update also brings in the ability for players to host servers directly, complete with saved character progress from offline servers. There’s also a new winter event for players to enjoy as well as improvements to build mode, so as long as you’re giving your housemates jobs they can do so in a more pleasant environment. So everybody wins! Check out the full rundown of changes, or you can see them in video form just below.
