Are you ready for some more questing in RuneScape? Well if you’re not, then you’d better be because the first of a new trio of quests is coming, which takes players back to the desert beginning on Monday, January 13th.
The new quest, titled Beneath Scarabas’ Sands, will see players assisting the pharaoh of Menaphos with investigating a spate of corrupted scarabs surfacing in the area. This first quest in the trilogy of events will effectively wrap up the desert storyline and lead to a final confrontation with Amascut herself.
Speaking of preparing for quests, the post outlines the prerequisites that players will have to have completed along with a list of recommended profession levels to make the most of what’s coming. It all looks like a lot, but Jagex is quick to point out that there are a lot of ways to level up and improve reputation with Menaphos, so it’s probably not as daunting as it first looks. Probably.
