Well, that's just Prime... wait, wrong one.

Transformers is a franchise that’s had a surprisingly difficult time breaking into the online sector, and it looks like its luck isn’t changing any time soon. IGN reports that Transformers: Reactivate has been officially canceled after years of development,  delays, and silent comms.

Developer Splash Damage announced the game’s fate on Twitter, saying, “Today, we have some very difficult news to share. The decision has been made to end development of Transformers: Reactivate. This means we will be scaling down to refocus our efforts on other projects.”

Transformers: Reactivate was a one-to-four player action game featuring the ever-popular transforming robots. The studio indicated that layoffs are happening as a fallout from this move, but it’s still going ahead with an open-world survival game.
