TERA’s class awakening system goes live in Korea

[AL:TERA]Have you ever noticed that eastern MMOs tend to feature “awakening” systems that are mostly absent in western games? It’s an interesting concept that revolves around unlocking a chunk of extra abilities for your character, sort of an advanced class with more skills and power.

TERA players are about to learn all about this first-hand, as the game’s awakening system is already live in Korea and should be heading to other regions in 2018. MMO Culture reports that awakened characters will receive anywhere between four and eight new skills when they go through this transformation.
