Shroud of the Avatar likes hosting its little events. Whether they’re weekly fishing tournaments or official decoration contests (which will be coming back soon, incidentally), having fun competitions with unique trophies for the winners are one of the game’s monthly highlights. Soon, PvP’ers will get to look forward to their own types of monthly events in New Britannia.
Plans for these tournaments were unveiled in SotA’s recent newsletter along with a look at the unique new trophies that will be handed out to winners and participants. The trophies are described as a new variety of shard discovered from the Shardfall PvP zones. In more practical terms, they’re purple, zappy, and shiny.
Dates and information for when PvP events will begin have yet to be ironed out, but there is at least a video showing off the trophies up for grabs which we’ve embedded below for the curious. SotA PvP’ers are also promised additional PvP-minded details soon, such as a PvP Queuing system and a unique PvP Town as an optional venue for official and community sponsored PvP events.
