Are you a fan of Aion? Are you also a fan of Steam? If so, this will be a day long remembered, because Aion is now on Steam. Sure, NCsoft’s fantasy themepark debuted in September of 2009, but a mere 73 months later it finds itself on Valve’s ubiquitous PC storefront!
In all seriousness, I may actually install it for old time’s sake, since Aion is the reason I landed a job with Massively-that-was.
Aion boasts 11 classes, two factions, a pretty extensive character creation toolset, and over 70 solo, group, raid, and PvP dungeons. NCsoft’s free-to-play model includes all game content and future expansions.
[Update]: Bad journo! Aion did in fact launch on Steam before today.
