Honorable.

How much time did you spend thinking about Honor of Kings yesterday? We’re going to go ahead and guess “not a whole lot,” but the game is both insanely popular and profitable, which in the gaming space means it’s time for spinoffs. And one of those is happening, as developer TiMi Studio has announced the development of Honor of Kings: World, an open-world AAA game based on the IP planned for a multi-platform worldwide release.

Lest visions of a new MMO be dancing in your head already, it’s probably best to temper those expectations; the exact wording makes it sound like the game is aiming more in the style of the also popular Genshin Impact, being online but not fully into MMO territory. The details remain to be seen, however; at this point, there’s just a brief story teaser trailer to feast your eyes on just below. You may not have been thinking about Honor of Kings, but its developers have been thinking about you.

Or your money. Mostly your money.
