It has been a busy couple of weeks in the world of Albion Online as Sandbox Interactive has been putting out patches, dealing with duelers being cheaty little cheaters, and expanding the sandbox MMORPG’s language options. So let us review, shall we?
We’ll start with the most recent patch, which is mostly focused on weapon balance, particularly in the case of staff weapons: Arcane staff’s mimic ability has been adjusted, the Avalanche skill for the hoarfrost staff got some tweaks, and the Rising Blow skill of quarterstaffs got a buff. The patch also made tweaks to an armor item and mounts.
Last week also saw Sandbox Interactive temporarily disable duels thanks to players finding an exploit. Luckily the cheat was found early enough that it wasn’t widely disseminated among players and those found to be using the exploit have been dealt with accordingly. A fix has already been deployed.
Finally, Arabic and Turkish players have cause to celebrate as both languages will be added to the MMORPG soon. A timeline for when these language options will be available isn’t tied down yet, but it will feature specific chat channels, sub-forums, and right-to-left chat orientation when it does go live.
