Are you ready for a new game that smooshes together survival games, life sims, action RPGs, and the Dungeons & Dragons IP? Then your very specific tastes are being catered to in a new announcement from Hasbro, which has taken the wraps off of plans to publish an unnamed new cooperative game from Gameloft Montreal, developers of Disney Dreamlight Valley.
“The game, set in the mythical Forgotten Realms within the Dungeons & Dragons® universe, will bring unique cooperative gameplay built around an innovative hybrid of survival, life simulation and action RPG. Players can expect an adventure where the rich lore of this legendary franchise meets real-time survival in a unique campaign of resilience, camaraderie, and danger at nearly every turn.”
Information about this upcoming title is still a bit thin beyond its co-op bent, sub-genre blend, excited statements from publisher and developer alike, and confirmation that it will be for PC and console. Gameloft is hiring to make this new title happen and promises to provide more details in the future. For now, we can at least all confirm this will be a thing sometime later.
