One of the more important parts of worldbuilding is often considering its history and mapping out major events prior to the current timeline of a creative work. Quinfall has obviously understood this needed part of creating a universe with a sense of permanence, as Vawraek Technologies has put forth another new video that grants an overview of the MMORPG’s ancient history.
The video tells the tale of a god-like being named Aoenisar, who created the planet of Quinfall itself in an effort to combat a deep-seated lonliness. However, the planet came under assault by creatures entering from rifts, which prompted the fading Aeonisar to create a god named Treon. After Treon’s armies successfully won a years-long war against the rift invaders, they dispersed to create their own nations. Now the planet of Quinfall is under assault again as Treon’s death has allowed these rifts to reopen again and another great war looms.
The video closes by previewing the next in-game look, which will offer a peek at these rifts, caravan thefts, and arena war content. For now, there’s some lore to explore in the video below.
