Oh man oh man, I do love that new character smell in MMOs. It’s about one of my all-time favorite things for online gaming when I roll up a brand-new adventurer and get to revel in the freshness of it all. Usually I try to change things up a little bit — try a new class, a different race combo, lay out different goals — so that things aren’t stale from the start.
Sometimes these alts end up going the distance, sometimes they’re just momentary distractions. But in each and every case, I love taking their screenshots with the thought of, “This is where their journey begins.”
