Profane’s preparations to go into the player testing phase isn’t just words — it’s a lot of words plus an extra video with even more words. Insane Studios said that it’s “right to start testing as soon as possible” and admits that it’s “behind” on doing this with its PvP MMO.
When the tests resume — no date given yet, but it seems to be coming soon — Insane said that it will ramp up the frequency and durations along with new features and content. The studio isn’t sharing specifics of these, preferring to speak of an improved testing and build experience in more broad terms.
However, the devs did speak briefly about the AI that’s running the various factions involved in this sandbox, saying that they’re looking forward to seeing how it interacts with players during tests.
