Blink and you’ll have missed it: Fall is almost upon us, and that means so is Throne & Liberty’s global launch. Early access begins just a week from tomorrow on September 26th, with the proper launch on October 1st. Ahead of those dates, Amazon and NCsoft have provided the full patch notes so players understand exactly what build they’ll be diving into.

“Extensive revisions have reshaped the game considerably since its initial launch in Korea last December,” Amazon says, telling players that it’s overhauled the leveling experience for pacing, added better early game tutorials, improved quest types, smoothed out gear progression, balanced PvP, iterated on dynamic events, added scaling to lowbie zones, slapped no-drop on some crafted materials, enhanced solo progression, inserted lifeskilling content like fishing and cooking, and “brought PvE content to parity with PvE” thanks to co-op dungeons and matchmaking.

“Combat and build diversity have been a major focus, with the introduction of Skill Specialization for deep customization, an increased skill cap of 24 active abilities per weapon combo, armor sets with passive bonuses, an option to customize camera smoothing, and an overhauled combat system featuring skill-shots and permanent Crowd Control (CC) breakers,” the studio adds. It’s also promising more info even before early access next week.

“Before early access begins, we will also release a team update granting a first look at the content you can expect to arrive after launch, along with our approach to rolling out key updates after the gates of THRONE AND LIBERTY open.”
